How would you like to own a car that’s a luxurious work of
art. A piece of history, an example of exquisite craftsmanship from a company
that has a proven pedigree of focusing on high performance cars.
A Lot of people own a Ferrari, but only 55 in this world own
a Ferrari 250GT California Spyder SWB. It really is extremely rare. It truly is
meta luxurious.

The Spyder from the Back |
The 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB (Short Wheel Base) California
Spyder was designed by Pininfarina and built by Scaglietti, power came from
2,953cc Colombo V12 engine pumping out 280bhp. It has a top speed of 150 mph, a
2400mm wheel base, and looks to die for. It was also the first batch of
Ferraris that had disc brakes.
It has been repeatedly named as the most beautiful car ever
made. Like Faberge eggs, California Spyders combine rarity and timeless,
eye-searing beauty that's perfect in proportion.
It is also highly unlikely that any two of the above 55 cars
will ever be the same as they were factory customized and hand crafted for
their owners.

The Most Beautiful Car Ever Made |
Ferrari's were custom built cars. They were not
mass-produced. Ferrari provided the engine and chassis while Italian coach
builders provided the body. This meant the specifications varied. Engines also
varied in horsepower rating, torque, and displacement. This was no different
for the 250 GT which saw many different variations in body style and body
types.
On May 18, 2008, 1961 250 GT SWB Spyder California chassis
GT 2377GT was sold by RM Auctions in association with Sotheby's for 6.4
million Euros, or $10,894,400 (at then-current exchange rate, including
bidder's premium), setting a new world record for the highest price ever paid
for an automobile at auction. The buyer ? U.K. radio personality Chris Evans.
The question is not whether you should have this car but,
whether you can ever manage to get hold of one….
